Our class 2 children had a brilliant time competing in a KS2 outdoor sports tournament. There was plenty of fierce competition on the rounders pitch, followed by a very wet, very fast bucket relay to wrap up a perfect afternoon of school sport.

From the very first sprint to the final pull of the tug-of-war rope, Lerryn Sports Day was an absolute joy. A huge congratulations to all our young athletes (and our brave adult volunteers!) who took part with such great sportsmanship and enthusiasm.

🚌☀️ What a whirlwind of fun and learning we’ve had☀️🚌

The absolute highlight was undoubtedly our incredible trip to Bareppa! From exploring the beautiful outdoors to sharing adventures with our friends, it was an unforgettable day from start to finish. In fact, the consensus is in: many of our children officially called it "the best day ever!" 🎒✨

A massive, heartfelt thank you to the LSA for treating us to this wonderful experience and making the trip possible. Our school community is so grateful for your incredible, ongoing support! 🙏❤️

Our budding gardeners turned into full-time scientists as we inspected our fantastic school radish collection! We brought out the measuring tools to settle the ultimate question: Who grew the longest radish? 📏🌱

One of the best things about being a micro-school in our Trust? Access to amazing specialist coaching! 🙌 This week our Trust PE Lead joined us for a fantastic session. The children had a blast practising their aim and coordination, launching frisbees straight into hula hoops! 🥏🎯 To wrap up a great day, they tapped into their creative sides by designing their very own World Cup trophies and dream teams. 🏆⚽

🐻 WE’RE GOING ON A BEAR HUNT! 🐻

"We're going on a bear hunt. We're gonna catch a big one. What a beautiful day! We're not scared!" 🎶

Children in class 1 channelled their inner Michael Rosen as they headed out into the great outdoors for an unforgettable, book-inspired adventure. Armed with maps, helmets, and a lot of bravery, they set off into the wild woods to see what they could find! 🗺️🌲 It was a wonderfully wet, brilliantly muddy day of pure environmental engagement. The children didn't just walk through nature—they tackled it head-on! A huge well done to all of our resilient, muddy, and exhausted little adventurers.
