Sadly the Little Blessings - Lossie Baby Bank are having to close and so need help getting rid of the donations they are currently housing.
If you or anyone you know needs anything please pop along tomorrow and see what they can give you.

This is not means tested! You do not need a referral! It is open to anyone who needs anything. Their slogo - “before you buy new come and see what we can do” supports their missions to reduce landfill by recycling within the community.

Today’s adventure to the fabulous STEM Centre and cooper park!

The STEM centre is amazing with so many different areas to explore, we took journeys under the sea🌊, went on a rocket 🚀 to space, learnt about wind, electric currents and the process that takes food from group to shops as well as learning about our bodies and construction 🦺. The children loved the wind machine and the fact they could control the speed of the wind to see which item would fly the highest.
These experiences introduces Science, Technologies, Engineering and Maths in a fun way! We hope these experiences might inspire the children to work in STEM job roles in the future! 🧑🏻‍🔬 👩🏻‍🔬

Happy World Bee Day 🐝

The children have been very excited learning all about insects and bugs and flowers 🌺 when we found out it was World Bee Day we just had to celebrate these amazing creatures!

Huge thank you to Kevin and Lydia at Wardend Fisheries for letting us come along and explore their gorgeous location for some outdoor learning.

Over the last few weeks the children have been able to feed the fish 🐟 and chickens 🐓, see a range of wildlife from swans 🦢 and ducks with their ducklings 🦆 to horses 🐴 and deer 🦌

We have listened to the sounds in nature and retained lots of important information about the types of trout and what they eat, why there are hay bails in the water and that different coloured chickens lay different coloured eggs. We’ve concentrated and focused our observation skills while we looked for fish and shrimps and tadpoles.

We’ve even cooked bread on a campfire for our snack! ❤️

Such a wonderful place to go fishing, take a walk or enjoy a coffee!

The children had a fantastic visit ❤️

Special Constables Munro and Willox were invited to visit Jack and Jill Nursery in Elgin.

The children were thrilled to try on some of our hats and kit, followed by a chance to sit in the police car…including seeing how many we could squeeze in during a hailstorm!

Thank you for having us, it is certainly one of the fun parts of the job.
