Great day yesterday at the North east open

So yesterday for the majority of our students was there first time competing. and we have to say how proud we are of you all for putting yourselves out there and giving it ago.

It takes alot of courage to get on the floor and put yourselves out of your comfort zone. but we all have to start somewhere

we did have a bit of success yesterday

Great attitude from our students tonight who are going to be taking part in the North East open on Sunday. for many of them this is going to be a new experience as its going to be there first time competing. so just go out have fun enjoy the experience. and give it your best. We are happy to announce that Carlisle Wadokai is now apart of the Cumbria Wadokai Karate Association (CWKA) 👊🏻🥋🇯🇵

Hello everyone we would like to welcome you all to Cumbria Wadokai Karate Association. We are a group that works together to practice JKf Wadokai karate and spread our teachings to students and like minded karateka. Over the coming months we will look to have our first seminar as a new association. We hope you will be able to join us on our New journey.

well what another great night here at carlisle Wadokai.

so tonight we had our 1st grading of the year. and everyone did brilliant.

We are not a club that just has a grading every other week we like to work on different things throughout the year. we concentrate on different parts of our karate and we know everyone learns at different rates. so we feel we only have a grading when the time is right. and by doing this we have a successfull night like tonight with lots of happy students. with everyone of them rasing there standard when it came to the grading.

Myself and Faith are extremely proud of all your progress over the last 6 month thank you all for stepping up and giving your all. keep up the good work
