Sunday is family fun day!

Something a little different today which came with some fantastic hands-on experiences! The Wonder of Wood fair at Burwash Manor was a brilliant place to watch some incredibly skilled crafters doing what they do best!

Fairs and experiences like this expose children to a whole world of hobbies and work which they don't necessarily see everyday. It also allows them to try out different skills - we used an axe, a drill and learnt how to start a fire (safely)!

Saturday spelling!

Word Wall is a brilliant site with plenty of premade activities covering so many different subjects. If your child is bringing home weekly spelling lists, why not create a game for them using Word Wall? This will reinforce what they've learned in a fun and engaging way.

Sundays are all about family time - why not have a go at following a tutorial by to learn how to draw some adorable characters!

We had a go at the puffins, we're pretty chuffed with the results!
