Steephill is a unique school, it offers an education of high standards and expectations but it is small, rural and friendly. The school was judged ‘excellent’ in curriculum, extra-curricular, pastoral, social, moral, spiritual and cultural care in its most recent ISI Inspection (2023); and with small classes of no more than 18 pupils, Steephill provides an environment where each child can truly fl


ourish. We offer as many learning experiences as we can and we endeavour to make those experiences relevant and fun. We are keen that all the children understand what it is to be a good friend and a good neighbour, in the widest context, and the importance of high standards of behaviour and endeavour. We are a mixed ability school and therefore work hard to support all children academically and also in the wider curriculum such as sport and the arts. Our great results demonstrate the success of our pupils year after year. We are very proud of our 11+ results, with a pass rate of over 72% for the past 10 years.

• Successful applicant required to do Safeguarding training
• Subject to references and DBS check

Steephill School follows Safer Recruitment procedures and applicants must be willing to undergo full Child Protection screening.
All appointments will be subject to two satisfactory references (as specified on the application form), appropriate DBS checks and medical fitness for the role.

What a summer it’s been…

Steephill International Airlines took to the skies today on its maiden flight to Italy!

Our Summer Camp travellers arrived at the airport ready for adventure, collecting their passports and boarding passes before making their way through security and to the departure gate. Once everyone was safely on board, it was time to jet off to beautiful Italy for a day full of fun!

Stay tuned to see what our young explorers got up to during their Italian adventure.
