How many of you have been given a piece of information and thought to yourself I will remember that, I don't need to write it down! Shopping list! Child's sports day etc but after a short period of time, we do forget unless we make an effort to remember something explicitly.

This is the same for your young people in a classroom setting. Unless we make an effort to re-visit information, it gets lost.

Always worth sharing this image with parents. It makes me think about the coats we get for our boys.

The child in both photos is in the same position with a different colour coat on. 😲 EDIT: the child is also wearing dark trousers and shoes in the second picture and has his hood up rather than a hat - apologies for not being so explicit in my original post.

Just want to stay a massive congratulations to every 11+ student this year!! 🎉
Regardless of the result, you should be extremely proud of yourself- the 11+ is not easy!
I'm feeling extremely proud of all my 11+ students- you all smashed it🤩

I hope everyone received the GCSE results they wanted and deserved in August🤩
Remember that if you didn't get the results you wanted, there are ALWAYS options. We are here to support you whether you need to resit your GCSEs or are working towards them📚

Here are some key things to remember whilst you reflect your results:

✏️ As long as you tried your best, that is all anyone can ask🥳

✏️ Use this experience to figure out what worked and what didn't so you can study more effectively at college or sixth form.

✏️ Don't bottle your feelings up! Talk to someone you trust if you are anxious or worried about your next steps. Remember: a problem shared is a problem halved🤗

✏️ Make a plan, look at your options and take some time to make a decision that is best for you!
