Our Parish Fete is taking place next week on the school field. We look forward to seeing you there

Dear Parishioners,

Just under 2 Weeks to go until our Annual Parish Fete on Saturday 13th June 2026 from 12noon - 4pm
It is such an important event in our Parish
Calendar both Socially and Financially.
Preparations are going well but we still need
your help to make this a success, so if you can:

•Invite your friends, family, neighbours and
everyone you know to come to the Fete.

•Display a Poster if you haven't already done so

•We still need Volunteers to help run Stalls on
the day for the whole day or even for an hour
to cover for Stall Holder who will need a break.

•Donations are coming in and we are very
grateful but we need more – Books, Bottles,
Jewellery, Toiletries, Toys, White Elephant Items
and for two new ideas – Spare Vases and
Drinking Mugs. Bake Cakes and Grow Plants.

•If you know of anyone or Company who can
donate a Grand Draw Prize it would be very
much appreciated.

•Lend a Gazebo for the day it would be useful.

•Help to set up on the Friday evening and
Saturday morning and tidy away after the fete.

•If anyone has a spare fridge they can lend us,
please contact us. If you have any questions or
suggestions, please use the designated email

The weather’s looking good for this coming weekend. Come along to our Parish fete where there is something for everyone- inflatables, BBQ, refreshments, cakes, games, ceramics, grand draw with great prizes, model railway and all the usual fete stands. Live band- Subtle Hustle. Gymnastics, Fire engine, etc etc. Saturday 14th Gates open at 12 noon @ Our Lady of Hartley Catholic Primary!

Huge thanks to the children of Our Lady of Hartley Primary School who took the time to make these heartwarming 'get well soon' cards for our patients at Darent Valley Hospital - these are sure to brighten up our patients' days as they read the messages and look at the colourful illustrations.

Thank you to Father Clement Eru, Parish Priest of Oratory St. Francis De-sales Catholic Church, who came to present these to the hospital this week.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and cheerful Finance Assistant to assist the Business Manager at our happy and successful Primary School.

Our Lady of Hartley is an outstanding (Ofsted June 2024) one form entry primary in the village of Hartley, near Longfield. We are part of the Kent Catholic Schools Partnership (KCSP).
