Also wanted to share a joint enterprise project with Brakenfield School, lots of this sold at out enterprise project, these were painted rather than glazed but some real colourful pieces.
These were made made from class students and staff and as a collection looks great

Last year we were making ceramics to sell at Ilkeston market place. This was an amazing and interactive day we're students we're selling these like hot cakes for the hour and half we were there.
But also Independence, following demo and verbal instructions skills was something I have been most impressed with this year during the project. Students really engaged and had lots of success in making these.

And so as part of out enterprise project we have been making Christmas cards to sell. Quite excited.
These were based on Christmas baubles in the tree and we have all practiced our make making, cutting, gluing and composition skills

December already. What more can I say?
My class 2 years ago used oil pastels over printed images to practise their block colour and blending techniques. While others made a back ground for a snowy scene

Well be looking forward to the next year's calendar in Jan. Its being ordered!!

Hello November already!! This was primary 3's addition to the calendar a few years back of a beautiful firework display.
Good news. Next years calendar is COMPLETE just needs verifing and ordering.

September here we are, hope everyones had a relaxed break and ready to start very soon.
Going in put plans together today. In prep for monday, shouldn't take long as i was v organised last year.... I hope but theres always stuff i could do. The list never ends.

And its up the secret postcard exhibition at The Old Lock Up Gallery over 600 postcards sent in all for sale for support of young artists and the gallery in this weird time
Im. Hoping to get down this year!
Even spy a few of our pupils work, maybe not so secret here but so proud of pupils and want to promote ability of my young people. Exhibiting in a real gallery!
