Reflecting on what has been a phenomenal effort by the JKS England team at the 7th JKS International Cup in Brazil, I will say the following.
It was a pleasure to see you up close on the tatami, an amazing squad with 100% Budo spirit, and to the JKS England coaches who were working in difficult circumstances, you gave every athlete your best.
To the JKS England referees & judges who were on the go for 3 days solid, you were a major part in the event being able to function, thank you to all the travelling support, you were indeed fantastic.
Yes we topped the medal table by some way and that's great, but the important thing is to be humble in victory and gracious in defeat, which you all were. You are all setting an example to be proud of.
