This week marks the 30th year of Sensei Jamie training in Kyokushin 😲He has put in a tremendous amount of work over the years of continual training and is a great example for the other karate-ka in the club, thanks from all at Derby Kyokushin !!! here's to the next 30 !! ❤️ Osu!

Different days for the instructors of Derby Kyokushinkai Karate Sensei Jamie ran the Saturday morning session and Shihan Andy helped teach the National grading course at the Milton Keynes dojo. A very busy time for both and great to see such hard work from all concerned 💪👊

Yesterday's kata course was very well attended and also very warm🥵😊 the team for Holland and people going for national grading working together on their kata and other grades learning new ones. Lots of questions and demos to help with a better understanding of what the whole framework of kata is for. Shihan Andy Rotherham was working in his role as assistant England coach. Sensei Jamie Ward-Rotherham from Derby, Senpai Amy Duffin from Oakham Kyokushinkai Karate Club attending as part of the England team 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 and a first for Jack from Burton Kyokushin. Really good to see national course attended by Karate-ka representing the local area. Well done all.
