As part of Parliament Week, we were delighted to welcome Sadik Al-Hassan to school on Monday. He visited classrooms, met pupils, and answered their questions about life as an MP. Later, Year 5 and 6 asked thoughtful questions on topics like recycling, food costs, and how decisions are made. It was a fantastic opportunity for our pupils to learn more about leadership and democracy.

loved their egg-citing science challenge today. They thought about the properties of different materials and made a capsule to protect an egg in a fall...well they tried to anyway! Egg-cellent teamwork!

School Tours

We have a number of upcoming dates where parents are warmly welcomed to join us for a guided school tour, meet some of our key staff, and get a real feel for our vibrant learning environment. Your children are very welcome to come along too! And for something extra special, we’re also offering a drop-in ‘Stay and Play’ session on Sunday 19th October from 10am to 12pm. This is a relaxed and fun opportunity for you to visit with your child and join in with activities, explore the environment, and get a taste of life at Northleaze.

On Friday, Reception took the public bus to Bristol city centre and went for a sail around the harbour on The Matthew. Children dressed up in their pirate costumes and braved the hot weather. We learned lots about the ship and pirates from the past. We had lots of fun waving to people from the boat and climbing up to the top! We then had a lovely picnic in the shade before catching the bus back to school
