Our sponsored hop-a-thon was a great success today. The children absolutely loved bunny hopping their "collective half marathon" way around the playground. It is always heartwarming to see the older children partnering up with the younger ones. Hopefully they will all enjoy their Easter eggs for taking part. Sponsor money can be brought into school by 14th April. Special thanks to our fab PTA for taking time out of their personal schedules to organise this event and for buying the lovely selection of Easter eggs for all dietary needs. We greatly value you all. 🐣 🐰

Years 6&7 enjoyed another great Shared Education morning at Studio 2.

Out Star Pupils of the week.

Our Year 6&7 children have completed their volcano investigation today. They made them with modelling clay, moulding it around a small plastic cup. They then painted them and sealed them with PVA glue. Today they added baking soda and vinegar to make them erupt.

Year 1 and 2 used their Thinking Skills and Personal Capabilities today to work in teams using their lovely new outdoor loose play equipment. They gave their learning 10 out of 10. That's a pretty good outcome! 💯 👍

Year 6 and 7 created some powerful poetry during today’s visit from the Culmore Hub

Today we welcomed Fiona from Creggan Country Park. Little Nugget, the Bearded Dragon, helped us to learn all about "camouflage".

Year 7 were very helpful doing lots of digging yesterday, getting soil ready for potatoes to go in. They watered the plants which they are growing around the school as there has been no rain but lots of sunshine this week. 🌞 🕶 😎 🪴

We were just amazed at the sporting talent of these girls in assembly today. They have received trophies and certificates for their incredible hockey and badminton skills. Congratulations to each of them. 🏒 🏸
