It's been a very busy week of gardening for Aileen and her greenfingered crew.
Y1/2 enjoyed trying the peas they had grown!๐Ÿซ› They also watered the plants- a very necessary job this week!
Y3/4 dug up strawberry plants to take home and grow with their families.
They also loved taking a closer look at the wildflower patch which they planted last Autumn and weeded the garlic patch.
Y5/6/7 each picked some pea pods ๐Ÿซ› and enjoyed trying some fresh peas which they had grown. They also dug up some strawberry plants from our patch to take home.
Aileen you are SO AMAZING! We are all going to miss you so much.๐Ÿฅฒ We cannot thank you enough for the care, time and skills you have shown to these children over the years.
Goodbye and good luck from all of us.๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿชด๐ŸŒฟ

On behalf of the entire school community, we want to say a massive thank you to our unbelievable PTA for organising such a fantastic and successful summer fair.
We all know that an event of this size does not just happen. It takes an incredible amount of behind-the-scenes time, dedication, and meticulous planning. We are so grateful for the hours they have spent coordinating vendors, organising stalls, and ensuring everything ran smoothly.
A special thank you goes to everyone who arrived early to set up, and to those who stayed late into the evening to clear up. Turning a school space into a festival of funโ€”and then restoring it back to a school groundโ€”requires immense physical effort and teamwork. Your hard work did not go unnoticed.
Because of your generosity and spirit, our families made wonderful memories, and the funds raised will directly benefit the children. Thank you for giving up your personal time to make our school such a vibrant and supported place.๐Ÿ™
