As we say farewell to the wonderful classes of 2026, we reflect with great pride on what has been a truly exceptional year at Carnhill Nursery School. It has been a pleasure to watch each child grow in confidence, independence, curiosity and kindness. Throughout they year the children have embraced new experiences, developed friendships and achieved so much in their learning and personal development.
We are incredibly proud of all that the children have accomplished and feel honoured to have been part of such an important stage in their educational journey. Their enthusiasm, resilience and unique personalities have brought joy to our nursery every day and they will be dearly missed by all the staff.
We would like to express our sincere thanks to all our families for your continued support throughout the year, and for the many cards, kind words and generous gifts recieved over the last few days. Your appreciation means so much to us and is truly valued.
As the children prepare to begin their next exciting chapter in Primary 1, we wish them every success and happiness. We know that they will continue to flourish and make us proud. To all our families, we wish you a wonderful summer filled with sunshine, fun, rest and special memories together.
Thank you for allowing us to share in your child's early years journey. It has been a pleasure and a privilege, and we will always remember the class of 2026 with great fondness.

Garden party part 2...😀

The Garden Party that turned into a pool party!! What a great day for our children, despite the torrential rain. Thank you to everyone who came today, it was so lovely to see you all. 😀We look forward to seeing you next week for our final few school days of 2026!!

Our final outing of the year was to Buncrana Park today for a teddy bears picnic. We were blessed with beautiful weather and wonderful children who had a fabulous time in the sunshine. Many thanks to all those parents who helped out in anyway today. We look forward now to our Garden Party on Friday. 🤩 (Part 1)

Yesterday we had our final visit to the Playtrail with Ciara at Forest School. We had a really exciting morning toasting our own marshmallows and making smores. Yum yum. Many thanks to Ciara for hosting us. 😍 (Part 1)
