Many thanks to all those who attended our coffee morning on Friday 22nd September. We were overwhelmed by your generosity. Many thanks, also, to those who contributed with a wide selection of beautiful treats which we all enjoyed with our tea and coffee. We are delighted to announce that through our online collection and money donated on the day, we were able to raise a total of £600 for Macmillan. We are extremely grateful for your generosity at this time. 😍
Staff enjoyed participating in a Staff Develoment Day today with staff from the Northern Ireland Forest School Association in Magee campus. The rain didn't put us off as we gained lots of new skills and ideas to develop our own Forest School in our school grounds. 😃

We are holding a coffee morning on Friday 22nd September to raise funds for Macmillan. The coffee morning will be held from 11.00am in our 'Ruby' room. This is a lovely opportunity for our Carnhill Nursery School parents, family and friends to come together for a great cause.
Donations to Macmillan can be made on the day or ,if you choose, can be made through the link below. Every penny raised will help Macmillan to support people living with cancer.

As we start the last week of August we think about our class of 2022-2023. 🥰 We wish all of our children every happiness and success in their new schools. Well done to Fionn and Emma who recieved a free one weeks pass to a Maiden City Soccer Summer Camp yesterday.
They have both shown outstanding attitude throughout, always tried their best and have shown great respect towards the coaching staff at our school sessions delivered by the MCSA team.

It's so hard to believe that another school year has come to an end. We've had a wonderful time getting to know all of our children, watching them grow and develop into the most confident learners, ready to take the big leap into Primary School. We wish them all the luck in the world and know that we will see them all soon at some point in the future. 🥰
There was great excitement in nursery today when we had a surprise visit from Charlie and his icecream van. 🍦 Lots of happy children and staff. 🥰

Today we welcomed Karen from Banyan Theatre Company, who was in school performing Goldilocks and the Three Bears. We all had a wonderful morning watching her amazing performance. 🥰
Another hugely exciting day. The children all became guardians of their own little caterpillars. We are going to look after them very carefully and watch them grow, develop and turn into butterflies to be released into our garden. 🐛🦋
The excitement was unreal today when Kidz Farm came to visit. The children had an amazing time getting up close to a variety of farm and other small animals. Some were braver than others. 🥰
In two days’ time, parents/guardians will receive the outcome of their Pre-School (Stage 1) and Primary 1 applications for September 2023.
Applicants who applied online via EA Connect will receive an email on Thursday 27 April 2023. If you do not receive an email, please check your junk folder. If you applied using a paper application, you will receive information on your child’s pre-school or primary school place by a letter sent to your home address.
Please note, applicants of underage children and late deferrals will receive their outcome on 13 June 2023.
