Fledglings is a 36 place day nursery situated in the grounds of Fulham Palace next to Bishops Park offering quality care and learning for children aged 0-5 years. In our own extensive grounds with large spacious playrooms for babies, toddlers and pre-school children. Our excellent outdoor learning environment is in full use all year round providing many opportunities and interests for your child.

We planted sunflower seeds in May! We had to wait a long time and water the seeds to help them grow…. Look at our first flower! 🌻🌻🌻

We’ve had a great morning! Today we did a science experiment to find out how craters are made on the moon. We learned that space rocks called asteroids and meteors crash into the moon leaving dents in the surface of the moon. We had a hands on experience understanding how this happens as Kelly and Mandy filled trays with flour and colour so we were able to see the craters made. We went in search for a collection of spheres of different sizes to be our space rocks. We counted down ready to blast off and let the asteroids fall to see what was left behind. We noticed the heavier the rock the bigger the crater was!
