Exam Technique: Don’t Lose Easy Marks!

✅ Read the question twice. So many students rush and answer the wrong thing. Underline key words like ‘not’, ‘total’, ‘difference’ or ‘explain’ before you start.

✅ Work at your steady pace. Don’t race! If a question takes too long, mark it, move on, and come back at the end. Every question is worth the same, don’t miss simple ones because you got stuck.

✅ Show your working. Even if your answer is wrong, you can still pick up marks for correct steps. For multiple choice, eliminate obviously wrong answers first to narrow it down.

✅ Check your work. If you finish early, don’t sit back. Go back to tricky questions and double check calculations and spellings.
