Hi Everyone,
It's Zohra here
Hope you're having a good day :)
I just wanted to share a short peice on my journey into building Zohra's Childminding and the process it took to reach this stage. Looking after children has always been a challenging task although it's the moments when they say a new word or acknowledge a new instruction or complete a task independently that make the days of hard w
ork worth it. When I first started work as a nursery assistant i had only experience of raising my own kids at the time. This experience would serve me well in my first few years of childcare, giving me the foundation from which to become a successful care provider to young children. However it did come with its fair number of trials and tribulations in the workplace and at home. There were times when I did not enjoy arriving home shattered from work and only to be made aware that Ofsted has made a suprise announcement that they would be visiting the nursery tomorrow. You can imagne the angst that it put everyone under! Later on down the line in my career, i learnt alot from my managers about how to manage a business and the daily upkeep required to keep things in running order. After about a decade of working as a full time carer of children plus my own previous experience, i decided to the take the plunge and start my own childminding business which you see today as Zohra's Childminding. The versatility of being able to look after young children without leaving the house has provided me immense joy. I look forward to seeing parents in the mornings and their little ones beaming with joy. Sometimes it can be hard at first letting mummy and daddy go at the door, but i try and reconcile their moods with a full day of fun games and activities, scrumptious snacks and high quality care. After a few weeks at my home the children start to acclimate to the new environment and begin to really flourish and grow. This is where the beauty is. I love childminding and look forward to hearing any of your inquiries about how I can be of service. Thank you
Zohra xx
