Lysander Preschool Lysander Preschool is a long established setting in West Ruislip. We take children from 2 to 4 years. We welcome input and involvement from parents.

We are a small, friendly Preschool in our own setting in West Ruislip.We are open term time only and take 16 children a session with four qualified staff. We offer a wide variety of activities based on the childs interests. At Lysander we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage to cover all learning areas. We can claim funding for children the term after their third birthday. Our philosophy is th

at children learn through play and example. Children are given the opportunity to explore, investigate and find out about themselves and the world around them. We follow your childs development and regularly meet with parents to discuss your childs progression. We are a registered charity so any funds go straight back into developing the preschool for your childs enjoyment.

Today we had to finally say goodbye to Lysander Preschool. A truly wonderful place to work and I think a lot of parents will agree a wonderful environment for their children to start their learning journey.
Thank you for all our lovely gifts today but most of all thank you for all your kind words over the last few weeks. It's been lovely to hear from so many people past and present, all sharing their sadness about the closure. We all have so many happy memories together and whether we have been at Lysander for 5, 8, 20 or even 34 years we all feel part of a very special family. This page will stay open, so please let us know how you are all getting on.
We wish you a Merry Christmas and all the best for the future.
