🎥 Among Katrina’s many credits she is the creator of the YouTube channel “Reading the Past”. Every week she researches, writes, films, edits, uploads and promotes historical education content to the channel. The channel explores, among other things, biographies (particularly relating to women’s history), significant moments in our past and material culture and literary history.

🥁 Exciting announcement…! I’ve been a bit quiet on the socials these past few weeks as I have been busy behind the scenes planning and writing and getting a very exciting project together…

🥳I’m delighted now to share that and I have received an Arts Council Project Grant ( ) to produce a series of seven VERY EXCITING episodes on our history channel for kids!! 😃🥳🙌

We have seven hugely exciting episodes now lined up and will be working alongside some fantastic collaborators! We are enormously grateful for the support from the Arts Council, which has awarded us with the time and a budget to produce this series.

😃 I’ll be sharing our journey on here throughout so do keep a look out. In the meantime, here’s a sneaky photo from our first shoot day last week with the fabulous .marchant and John Gregor!
