Queens Park Day COMPETITIONS, WE GOT ‘EM!

Calling all junior (Yr 6 and under) artists. Bring your best/your worst/your wildest self-portrait along to the Competitions Tent for display and judging.

Feeling cheffy? The adult baking challenge this year is Bakewell Tart, or Piccalilli if you’re more into preserving. For kids we have a Decorated Cake Pops competition.

Or rope in the whole family to participate on a Made From Cardboard extravaganza. (We’re still marvelling at the recreation of Taylor Swift’s piano last year.)

And another new one for the kids: Make a Paper Hat. Use whatever you like to decorate, but make sure it’s wearable.

ALL ENTRIES MUST BE DELIVERED TO THE COMPETITIONS TENT BETWEEN 11:00 - 12:30.

We have some great judges this year. Big thanks to (drum roll!): Jesse from Parlour - Pub & Restaurant, NW10, London; the Crazy Baker Café team Sophie and Karen; photographer ++ emmottelainea; and local shopkeep Tracy from CHINE Home. We also have Helen Durnford, who worked tirelessly on QP Day for years, coming up specially from Wiltshire to judge!

Queen's Park Community Council As many may know, the tunnels for the new HS2 rail line will pass under Queen’s Park on their way from Old Oak Common to Euston

There are two tunnelling machines in use and the leading one is now under Queen’s Park at Oliphant Street as shown on the map.
