Your little one still needs to sleep on their back on a surface that is clear, firm, flat, and waterproof. Air-con can be a great help in keeping the room at the ideal 16-20°C, as long as it’s not blowing directly on your baby. You should also remove a layer of bedding if their chest or the back of their neck is hot/clammy.

From today, eligible parents of children who will be 9 months old by 31st August 2024 can apply for 15 hours of childcare a week 👶
