We run various different activities, all offering you something social, fun and stress relieving.

Reminder for those of you asking about refunds...

Unfortunately due to the current situation with Covid-19, Lent term Active Lifestyle class pass holders will not be offered a refund on their pass since you will have already received over 75% of your termly membership.

We're so sorry about this as we know there are still 3 weeks of classes participants could be missing out on, but considering the current situation there's not a lot else we can do.

We will keep you updated on when classes are due to start back up as soon as we know.

*** COVID-19 UPDATE ***

Dear all Active Lifestyle participants,

Unfortunately, we have had to make the difficult decision to cancel all remaining Active Lifestyle classes from tomorrow onwards (Tuesday 17th March).

I am aware that the post from this morning said that they were continuing as normal, but this decision has now been reviewed and in the best interest of our staff and participants we have made the difficult decision to stop running the classes.

If you have any queries about refunds, please email either Meg, our Active Lifestyle coordinator ([email protected]) or Grace, our Sports Manager ([email protected]) rather than messaging this page, as they are in a better position to assist you with such queries.

Once again, we apologise for the cancellations and hope that you all stay happy and healthy. Thank you for being incredible participants to this programme and we hope that you have enjoyed it. If you are lucky enough to still be at LSE next year, we hope you will re join us in Michaelmas term (all being well).

CLASS CANCELLATIONS:

DANCEFIT CANCELLED TODAY (16/3/2020)

The first DanceFit session scheduled to happen today from 12-1pm has been cancelled.

7:45-8:45 AM MORNING YOGA CANCELLED TOMORROW AND WEDNESDAY

Classes on the 17th and 18th March 2020 have had to be cancelled.

** COVID-19 UPDATE **

We have received a few queries regarding this weeks classes. For now, they are scheduled to go ahead as normal, but as with everything at the moment, this is subject to change in accordance with the government's advice.

We will continue to keep you updated via this FB page.

To keep everyone happy and healthy, we ask that you do not attend classes if you are showing symptoms/ in contact with someone who has contracted the virus and that as always you adhere to good hygiene standards.

Dettol wipes will be provided to wipe down equipment after use and we ask that you do this to ensure the safety of yourself and others.

If you have any further questions, please feel free to get in touch but please respect the rapidly changing nature of the situation and any subsequent decisions we may have to make.

Then check out our new Couch to 5K programme, hosted in collaboration with LSESU Athletics and Running Club every Tuesday noon-1 PM.

You can now purchase your Lent Term Class pass online from our website - just £20.00 for the entire term! Alternatively, you can purchase a one-off class pass for £3.00 for the particular class you wish to attend.

Please note that our new booking system is now in place for the following classes:

* Monday 07:45-08:45 Yoga
• Monday 17:00-18:00 Vinyasa Yoga
• Tuesday 07:45 – 08:45 Yoga
• Tuesday 15:00-16:00 Pilates
• Wednesday 07:45-08:45 Yoga
• Wednesday 10:00-11:00 Beginners Yoga
• Wednesday 17:00-18:00 Pilates
• Thursday 11:30-12:30 Beginners Yoga

To reserve your place for a class, please show your Class Pass at the gym floor reception, located on the 4th Floor of the Saw Swee Hock Building. They will add your name to the registration list which will then be passed on to the class instructor prior to the start of the class.

There will be 25 places available, with each class operating on a first come first serve basis. Don’t worry though; you can book up to 7 days in advance to make sure you get a spot.
