Announcing Kwajo Tweneboa! 📣
Kwajo is a 25-year-old activist from south London, who uses social media to give a voice to social housing tenants and expose the derelict living conditions that many are forced to endure.
He has travelled the country putting pressure on politicians and social housing providers to improve living standards.

We’re delighted to have performed strongly in the Knowledge Exchange Framework (KEF) 4 results!
The KEF celebrates the range of activities higher education institutions undertake with external partners for the benefit of society and the economy in England. These activities include partnering with industry, businesses and the public and third sectors, as well as commercialising research through spinout businesses, licensing intellectual property and nurturing student entrepreneurship.

Introducing Timi Okuwa! 📣
Timi is the CEO of the Black Equity Organisation (BEO), an organisation committed to dismantling systemic racism and improving the socio-economic conditions of Black communities across the UK.
BEO collaborates with major corporations to create a more inclusive business environment. Timi brings a wealth of experience from her roles in global consulting firms and her extensive public service, having served as a magistrate for 11 years.
She is deeply involved in her local community, serving as the Chair of her local church’s Community Interest Company.

Researchers at UCL and Birkbeck have developed headgear that can detect signs of emotional processing in babies as young as 5 months old.
This new technology maps brain activity across the entire surface of the brain, revealing unexpected prefrontal cortex activity related to social interactions in infants.
This advance could help us better understand how neurodevelopmental conditions like autism and ADHD develop, allowing for support to be put in place earlier in life. 🌟

Software that allows users to control a computer using a range of gestures and movements with just a we**am and PC, invented by academics from UCL Computer Science, was put through its paces by school students and the BBC’s Paul Carter.
Initially developed in 2020, MotionInput Games has undergone several generations of improvements, integrating offline and privacy-safe Artificial Intelligence for PCs, with the help of industry partners including Intel Corporation.
