How to change your life FAST by changing your environment & How it helped me grow my clients’ revenues to 7-figures.
When I reflect back to starting out as a sales person, I didn’t think it would come to a full time business such as my Trusted Sales Academy is today, and I always try to learn a new thing or two by observing it objectively.
Cause I used to be an entirely different person in 2013, back when I started with entrepreneurship.
At the time I thought the best way for me to be successful in life was to climb the corporate ladder and eventually…maybe… one day… if I worked hard enough, and made enough sacrifices - get to the top of a big company.
When you spend most of your time in an environment where you’re uninspired by what you’re doing on a day to day basis, like a grey office away from home for several days a week you form bad habits.
I worked really hard to build my department, but I was not living a true life of success. I did not prioritize myself at all, and I gave everything to everyone else.
So..
After working so hard and building my memberships division (for my boss) to over 500 members, I was kicked out and thrown to the wolves. But I didn’t learn my lesson. I did it again for another 8 years in another company, generating almost $55 million for them and their clients.
Slowly in 2016, on the side, I started my own business, and back then it had no name, and today it is the Trusted Sales Academy. I also gave tonnes of advice to over 5,000 entrepreneurs on how to improve the value of their time, and increase their revenue. I loved it.
I eventually worked out that I keep helping these large companies to make more money, but in fact what I really cared about was helping smaller companies to also have a shot at improving their sales and revenue.
Every single time I meet with a new client it takes me back to those conversations. It’s just an amazing feeling. AND…I feel really excited about growing the Trusted Sales Academy now, using all my knowledge and skills from making large companies MILLIONS, to putting it into a way that can be used by EVERY entrepreneur.
I just couldn’t figure out why I did not make this jump earlier, but now I know why as I didn’t have the awareness of how huge of a role the environment actually is, and how it changed everything, when I finally figured out that I needed to take control of my own environment.
Essentially most people I speak with and including myself, try to change as a person entirely ( routine, habit, interest wise etc. ) in the same environment we’ve been our ‘’old-selves'’ in for years or decades.
This is the most common form of self-sabotage which occurs automatically, where will-power just doesn’t cut it, no matter how hard you try...
Once I started reflecting back on what contributed massively to my transformation, changing my environment was a huge one.
March 2024, I joined a mentorship program and started surrounding myself with other people all on the same journey and that’s where I attribute most towards my growth, by changing my environment.
Because of that environment, I was recently encouraged to put all my knowledge and skills together into a new model, no longer working with just large corporations, but opening up to help every entrepreneur.
If you’re an entrepreneur, changing your environment and the people around you while trying to become your ‘’new-self’’ is huge.
You don’t have to go to a different country, you can simply start by paying attention to where you’re working and who you’re spending time with.
Are they lifting you up in life and helping you to drive forwards, or do they try to drag you back down to earth and crush your dreams?
If you find you’re uninspired by your environment, find somewhere else to work.
If you find yourself surrounded by people who don’t support your ambitions, find other people to hang out with. People who have got your back and encourage you instead of telling you to settle.

ANOTHER SUCCESS STORY!!
Incredible results from one of our clients’, the Impact Investor Summit, who had a target of $200k for their summit a few years ago.
This was an amazing event with over 1,000 attendees with 3 incredible speakers. Mark Robinson, Markus de Maria, Simon Zutshi were the headline speakers and each had their own targets.
At TSA we were contracted to be the Fractional Sales Director for the event and were given a sales team (which hadn’t really sold anything big ticket before), so we took this one and this is what we did:
> We had on the job training of the sales team, listening to sales calls, coaching on them as well moving from 12% close rate to 40%+ close rate.
> We worked with the speakers to provide a product and process that would work smoothly
> We led the process on automation, follow up and upsells.
>>>AND…this led to a total revenue of over $866k. 4.5X Target!
Absolutely smashing!

But before I dive into that, let me share my experience of some common misconceptions when trying to grow your sales revenue..
You don’t need a pile of cash to make changes…
You don’t need a tonne of experience…
You’re not too old for improvement or change...
You don’t need to belong to a certain culture…
You don’t need to be tech savvy…
You don’t need anything but the following when adding $30,000 of revenue a month, this is all you need to understand as a base:
𝟏. 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐞 #𝟏
- Know your people
- This will help you 100% be sure that you have the right team around you, and they are working to their strengths and best abilities.
Knowing your people will give you an incredible growth in confidence of how easy it’s going to be for you to improve productivity and output.
Once you find a way to know your people in depth, without spending hours and hours having to learn about it, you can process and scale this quickly.
Use special tools like Tema app to profile your teams and put them in the right roles.
𝟐. 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐞 #𝟐
- Process for success
- Just because you have done something the same way for 10 years, doesn’t mean it doesn’t need a revamp. Building incredible processes now, will give you more freedom later.
There are so many amazing automation tools out there right now that can shorten your lead time, increase trust quickly and give you the insights you need to make decisions on what’s working and what’s not working.
Review and replicate what your competitors processes are, you don’t need to work it out all by yourself.
Learn from working with specialists in the area’s you know you are not the best at, like working with us at the Trusted Sales Academy.
Be innovative and look for other methods to smoothen and streamline the process.

- Pipeline as a puzzle
- Like processes, pipelines can be changed and improved as soon as you can see a data set to prove you should. Don’t be afraid to build multiple pipelines so you have a journey for each lead and customer.
Use multiple sourcing methods to make sure you always have a strong pipeline of opportunities to generate sales from.
Create beautiful dashboards to be able to make important decisions and see results live.
Learn to master working with referral partners! They can bring you multiple leads over a year, earning tens of thousands. Everybody wins.
Never be afraid to find a way to help a customer, even if the product is not yet available in your current portfolio. Find incredible deals, and your customers will love you for it.
Remember that time plays a massive factor in seeing an exponential result in your business.
