We’re Hiring a Qualifications Development Expert
Quality Awards & Vocational Accreditation (QAVA) is seeking an experienced Qualifications Development Expert to support the design and development of high-quality vocational and professional qualifications.
This is a contractual role, suitable for someone with awarding body or qualification development experience who is comfortable working independently and contributing at a senior level. The role is UK-based and can be carried out remotely or on a hybrid basis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing qualification structures, learning outcomes, assessment criteria, and qualification specifications. You will ensure alignment with recognised UK frameworks, while working closely with quality assurance, governance, and subject-matter experts to maintain academic integrity and sector relevance.
We are looking for individuals with proven experience in qualification development, a strong understanding of UK quality and regulatory frameworks, and excellent analytical and writing skills. Experience within an awarding body or regulated education environment is highly desirable.
