This is the next book on my list to read. 𝗜’𝘃𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 about it, and 𝗶𝘁’𝘀 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝘂𝗽 𝗺𝘆 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗲𝘁 with the genre!

Looking forward to it!

Hello 2023!

l’m not into making New Year resolutions; these can be made at any given point in the year as and when it suits your needs.

Making resolutions at the beginning of the year, in what seems an automatic requirement, puts many people under a lot of unnecessary pressure.

How many make a resolution at this time of the year just for the sake of it and then half heartedly try to stick to it - no passion, no interest, no motivation and then feel a pang of guilt for it?!

How many people ‘break’ their resolutions before January is out and then feel crap about themselves because they feel like they have failed at something?!

𝗦𝗼, 𝗜 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝘀𝗮𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗽 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗯𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟯 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗼𝗽𝗵𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗱𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝘆!

It’s been a while!
How are you all?

I’ve been busy juggling life-stuff these past couple of months. Different classes, a new job, football heavy weekends; it’s been a whirlwind!

Current mood: chilled vibes ❤️

Happy kids in the garden, and me on the sofa digging into marzipan fruit-shaped sweets (my traditional Christmas sweet treat!), while reading. This feels good!

𝐓𝐨 𝐣𝐮𝐠𝐠𝐥𝐞 (𝐂𝟐, 𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐥 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐛):
To try to deal with different jobs, tasks or activities at the same time so that you can fit all of them into your life.

𝐈𝐭’𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐚 𝐰𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐥𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐝:
People sometimes use ‘whirlwind’ to describe a situation that happens suddenly and is full of lots of quickly changing or confusing activity. Often used in reference to one’s lifestyle / situation.

𝐃𝐢𝐠𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 (𝐩𝐡𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐥 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐛):
To start eating something in an enjoyable / eager way. A common use of it is when you cook for someone or have snacks laid out, people often say “dig in!”, which is an invitation to start eating and enjoy it.

𝗜𝘁’𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗮 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗲!
I’ve totally switched off from Instagram recently as I’ve been swamped both physically and mentally.
Work has been hectic, and juggling that with running a family is just a whirlwind concoction!
I’m slowly adjusting to the new routine that this new academic year has brought.
Would I change it? Never! Despite chasing my tail, I love my life and feel very fortunate.
I’m coming through the other side of the chaos, and looking forward to being back on here, sharing valuable posts for you and keeping you updated on my Break Through Advanced group.
