What an end to the season for these U10 Hawks .

It's been a joy to co-manage this team for Season 2 with the brilliant - and I can't wait for season 3. These girls have worked hard & just kept climbing... and smiling. And the parents are pretty awesome too!

So it comes to a close - and with a busy one today - last match and then an awesome Club Day at the Rec.

Feet up for a short while... then onwards. Summer tournaments and planning for September.

Made it to the seaside for some downtime and the hubby had picked up a copy of the latest - result 🙌

Did a quick once through (as always) and then got stopped in my tracks by this beautiful poem by Chris Matthewman (& the gorgeous illustration by Rose Dai).

Life IS short. Bridge the gaps.

The BEST afternoon. Less than a 5 min walk@from my front door, this hidden gem .mind.body.spirit challenged me to get well outside my (physical) comfort zone and "stress up to stress down".

3 brilliant women, one brilliant host... I learnt a lot, laughed even more - and can't wait to head back.

What an awesome oasis.

Needed to shift the mindset this morning. So shifted my body - to a different location. Just because. And it did the trick. Went to my local library, found a quiet(ish) corner... and got the offer of a cup of tea to boot!

Sometimes a change in environment can really help kick start a change in perspective.
