Whitgift School in the sunshine! Summer is just round the corner ☀️

🇬🇧 Welcome aboard the Eurostar service direct to London!

Eurostar offer direct train services to and from Paris, Lille, Brussels, Rotterdam and Amsterdam.

We collect and drop off students with staff accompanied transfers at London St Pancras International on transfer Sundays. Travelling to Whitgift couldn’t be simpler.

From St Pancras our staff travel with you to Whitgift Summer School and it takes approximately 40-50 minutes.

💫 How We Look After Your Child at Our Summer School 🌞

Whitgift Summer School in South London welcomes international students aged 11–17 into a safe, supportive, and nurturing residential environment, where their wellbeing comes first. Children are cared for by experienced House Parents, a dedicated Welfare Manager, and an onsite Nurse, with rapid access to a Doctor when needed- ensuring every student feels secure, listened to, and cared for throughout their stay. Early homesickness is handled with kindness and expertise, helping students quickly settle, grow in confidence, and feel part of a warm, inclusive community.

Alongside exceptional pastoral care, Whitgift offers a rich programme of academic courses - including Intensive General English, Academic Enrichment, Digital Champions, and Skills in Academic English - set on a beautiful campus just 30 minutes from central London. At Whitgift Summer School, our Intensive General English programme is designed to develop a passion for English language learning that will motivate students during their stay with us. We also hope our course will inspire students to continue developing their English when they leave Whitgift.

Key elements that set Whitgift Summer School's English Language course apart from others include:

👩🏻‍🎓 👨🏼‍🎓 Study with British students from Whitgift and Croydon High Schools in afternoon lessons, afternoon and evening activities.

📖 Classes are a maximum of 12 students, and taught by qualified, experienced and Whitgift trained teachers.

🇬🇧 English studies are bolstered with excursions to London and famous UK cities (included in the course fee).

🌎 We have a strict nationality mix and ensure there is no more than 15% of one nationality.

📱 Lo-Fi environment with a strict mobile phone policy to encourage positive social interactions and engagement.

📬 Full progress reports each week, followed by a comprehensive leavers report with advice on how to further your English. Written by your EFL Teacher plus the activity and welfare teams.
