We are so proud of our Year 13 leavers who this morning collected their stellar A Level results.
As their JAGS journey draws to a close, we wish them the very best of luck on their exciting next steps, in whatever direction that may be.
Today’s results reflect the passion, persistence and perseverance with which they approached every challenge and beneath the headline figures are so many personal triumphs and achievements.
Highlights include:
35% of results were graded A*
92% of results were graded A*/B
One in five pupils earned three or more A* grades
Over half of the students received all A*/A grades

Audiences were transported to a magical world under the sea this week for our Junior production of ‘The Little Mermaid’ 🦀🧜♀️
Cast and crew alike were superb throughout the run of shows, leaving audiences enchanted by the story, set design and stellar performances.
It was amazing to see the entire Senior School out in force for Sports Day!
It was the first time the whole Senior School has come together for the event since Covid.
We enjoyed a brilliant day of competition with some long-standing school records smashed and plenty of photo finishes.
Year 9 Russian students had fun putting their lexis and grammar knowledge to the test by writing scripts and filming short videos on topics such as the weather and fun hobbies.
This term, budding JAGS chemists competed in the Royal Society of Chemistry’s School Analyst Competition.
It has been wonderful to see students expand their chemistry knowledge and skills through these new and challenging practical experiments.
We are pleased to reveal that JAGS has been shortlisted for the Environmental Practice Award at this year’s Education Business Awards.
The nomination recognises our commitment to sustainability and the huge strides made to reach our goal of becoming Carbon Neutral by 2030.
It was so much fun welcoming students from Collège Saint Robert, Merville, France, to JAGS yesterday.
Students from Years 6, 7, 8 and 9 caught up with their French pen pals with a picnic on our playing fields before heading to the VWA for a song competition.
Sunshine and blue skies only as our Year 13 Pirates and Princesses set sail for study leave.
We arrrrrr going to miss their laughter, energy and enthusiasm around the school and have treasured their contribution to life at JAGS.

Huge congratulations to our U16 Touch Rugby Team who were crowned South London League champions last week!
This week, Year 9 transported audiences back to the 1920s and into the world of ‘Alice Diamond and the Forty Elephants’ - the all-female gang that once ruled Elephant and Castle.
The cast and crew were excellent as they told the story of how these women, who began life in poverty, were transported into a world of glitz, glamour and crime in the wake of the First World War.
It has been an absolute pleasure to welcome Dulwich College pupils to JAGS as we hosted the Year 3 and 5 section of today’s Junior School Symposium.
There was incredible teamwork on display throughout as pupils focused on understanding this year’s theme of ‘Connections & Communications’.
Pupils really have done it all today; from singing to sign language, dance and drama to news reporting and treasure mapping.

The team, featuring students from Years 9 to 13, emerged victorious following a closely contested final against Tiffin School.

Year 8 ended the week with a spine-tingling Gothic Tales performance in our Prissian Theatre.
There were screams and shocks galore as students were left captivated by renditions of The Red Room, The Signalman and The Tell-Tale Heart.
