What students see every day influences how they think, engage and interact with learning.

This bespoke maths environment was designed around the idea of subliminal learning — using the everyday school environment to reinforce mathematical thinking in a more natural, engaging and visually impactful way.

Throughout the design, mathematical concepts, challenges, quotes and visual prompts were carefully integrated to encourage curiosity, problem solving and interaction beyond the classroom itself.

The aim was not simply to decorate the corridor, but to create an environment that continually encourages students to think differently about maths as they move through the space each day.

Every element was tailored specifically to the school and its students, balancing educational content with a clean, contemporary aesthetic.

Valentino is pleased to be attending today’s Wiltshire Inclusion Conference 2026 for senior leaders, inclusion managers and SENCOs working across Wiltshire and beyond.
Right Choice Wiltshire

With sessions focused on mainstream inclusion, good practice and the wider priorities shaping schools, today feels like an important opportunity to listen, learn and be part of conversations around how pupils can be supported more effectively across the whole school environment.

For us, it’s always helpful to understand what schools are focusing on in practice, and how those priorities can be reflected in the spaces pupils and staff use every day.

We’d love to chat about how our bespoke Wall Art can help bring your school’s values, priorities and inclusive approach to life.

NSPCC Number Day took place on 6th February this year. On that day, children across the UK dedicated their time to all things Maths related!

The goal?

Raise vital funds to support the NSPCC's services like Speak Out Stay Safe and Childline. And show pupils that Maths is loads of fun, and a key part of the curriculum.

Once again, Promote Your School donated a Wall Art project as a prize for the Number Day random draw. Every school that registered to participate in Number Day entered the draw. NSPCC then selected a winner at random – Newbridge School in Gwent were the lucky recipients!

They won a bespoke Wall Art project, including design, print and installation. We have now completed the project and are thrilled to share the results.

“We were incredibly fortunate to be selected as winners of the Promote Your School prize. Promoting numeracy across other subjects and in real-life contexts has been a key focus at our school, so our design reflects this by showcasing real-world applications such as finance and sport.” - Newbridge School

Via our work, we support schools in transforming their visual learning environments via bespoke Wall Art that reflects values, strengthens identity, and helps to create environments that pupils and staff feel proud of.

If you’re attending today, come and say hello. We’d love to chat about your school environment and share a few ideas from our latest Ideas Book.

We’re excited to be exhibiting at the Schools North East Inclusion Conference today at Kingston Park Stadium. Schools North East

Michelle is here today joining school leaders, SENDCOs, inclusion leads, and practitioners for a day focused on how every pupil can feel supported, understood and able to thrive.

With inclusion remaining a key priority for schools, events like this offer an important opportunity to listen, learn and be part of the wider conversation around what inclusive education looks like in practice.

We’re especially interested in the role environments can play in that picture, from helping pupils navigate spaces with confidence to creating a stronger sense of belonging, identity and inclusion across the school.

If you’re here today, do come and say hello to Michelle. She’d be happy to walk you through some ideas from our latest Ideas Book and chat about how thoughtful Wall Art can support inclusive school environments in practical, meaningful ways.

We’re delighted to announce the BBC 500 Words 2025 Wall Art winner!

Last year, Rosie Clarke submitted a story to the BBC 500 Words competition. Her story was chosen as part of a random Wall Art prize draw. This means Rosie won a bespoke, literacy Wall Art project for her school, Mytham Primary School in Little Lever, Bolton.

Rosie also won a bundle of books for herself and her school. And she attended the BBC 500 Words winners’ ceremony in February. The ceremony took place at Windsor Castle and was a star-studded event to honour all the winners. Rosie, escorted on the day by her grandmother, met Her Majesty the Queen and BBC 2 presenter Sara Cox, who grew up in the same town as the school.

This Mental Health Awareness Week, it’s a reminder that school environments can influence far more than aesthetics.

The spaces students move through every day can help create a sense of calm, belonging and encouragement throughout the school experience. From wellbeing messaging and quiet reflective areas to inclusive, student-centred design, the visual details of their environment can contribute to how a school feels as much as how it looks.

We work with schools to create bespoke Wall Art that supports culture, identity and student experience alongside learning.

Many schools recognise that their environments influence far more than aesthetics alone, but creating a joined-up vision across a campus can often feel difficult to navigate.

That’s where strong design direction becomes essential.

Meet Jon, one of our Design Directors at Promote Your School, who leads the creative direction behind our bespoke visual learning environments, helping shape ideas into cohesive, purposeful and premium spaces tailored to each individual school.

From curriculum-led visuals to culture, wellbeing and identity-focused spaces, Jon oversees the design process to ensure every project feels considered, visually impactful and aligned with the wider experience the school wants to create for students, staff and visitors alike.

It’s this level of thought, detail and bespoke design that helps schools create environments with lasting impact across the campus.
