This term, we were blessed to hold our annual Huffadh Graduation.

The ceremony was filled with beautiful Qur’an recitation, inspiring reminders, and heartfelt reflections from our students.

This year’s ceremony was especially unique and special as we celebrated Huffadh from across both schools, welcomed back our alumni, and proudly recognised our first-ever female Hafidha.

The occasion served as a powerful reminder of the importance of living by the Qur’an, while honouring the dedication of our students and the invaluable support of their parents and teachers.

We ask Allah to make this a means of entering Paradise, and to make our Huffadh - and all of us - true carriers of the Qur’an, embodying its guidance in our lives. Aameen.

School Council Elections took place this week, with our enthusiastic students preparing thoughtful speeches. Well done to all who took part and showed such confidence and commitment!

We’re excited to take part in ‘A Day in the Life of a Hifdh Student’, a special Qur’an event organised by Mothers of Huffadh at the East London Mosque. Our very own alumnus will be speaking and our students will be reciting a portion of the Qur’an, as the programme explores the daily routine, challenges, and rewards of the Qur’an memorisation journey, offering valuable insight and motivation for all inshaa’Allah.

As football season approaches, we’re sharing a proud moment from earlier this year — the United Madrasah Championship (UMC) Football Tournament ⚽️

Our boys from Year 7 to Year 10 proudly represented LEA, competing against eight other local schools. It was a fantastic day of football — our talented students showcased exceptional skill, teamwork, and sportsmanship throughout the competition. A superb effort all round — well done to all our players! 🏆

A special moment after Jumu’ah — two of our Year 11 boys completed their memorisation of the Qur’an, reciting their final verses in front of their teachers, our Shaykh (h), their families, and the congregation.

Alhamdulillah this is not uncommon at London East Academy & Al Mizan School. With Hifdh programmes running from Year 3 to 11, our dedicated Qur’an teachers, and the unwavering support of families, we’re blessed to witness moments like this often.

What made this one unique — the boys completed their Hifdh right after their GCSEs, showing remarkable determination mashaa’Allah tabarak’Allah.

We ask Allah to accept it and make them true carriers of the Qur’an who live by its guidance
