Singing lessons going well in my Haringey studio.

I've had some brilliant new students this week and happy to report that Jasper, my assistant, has been working very hard 😻

Very sad to announce that one of the casualties of lockdown 3.0 / gentrification was my lovely Camden studio (and just after I'd re-painted!). I'd called that place my musical home for more than 10 years, so it's been hard coming to terms with the fact that it is no more :'(

BUT I'm excited to announce that I am now teaching from my new studio in Haringey, in-person as well as on Zoom. I have new speakers, a new keyboard, Covid-secure screens AND a fluffy feline assistant, Jasper, who sometimes keeps us company :).

The power of Zoom means I’m able to attend a distortion vocals course today that’s being hosted from Italy. Good to see that the annoying witch has gone global!

Back into lockdown, so sadly in-person lessons are on hold once again, but Zoom lessons very much still happening.

So nice to see Yasmin and Beatrice today, and extra fun to dissect this tricky bit of ad-lib from Ms Simone.

Good news! With the help of a screen, a HEPA-13 medical grade air filter, a lot of antibacterial spray and a big bottle of hand sanitiser, I am now back delivering lessons in-person as well as on Zoom.

It was so lovely seeing my student Jojo today.

I’m taking bookings for in-person and Zoom lessons, and also offering Christmas gift vouchers, which can be used either in-person or via Zoom.

Screens have been ordered, hand sanitiser stocked up and a Hepa medical-grade air filter is on its way, so very hopeful to be resuming in-person lessons within the next couple of weeks. Thanks for bearing with me while I get my head around risk assessments!
