The New Stepping Stones Playgroup We are a not for profit pre school nursery in Mortlake, offering superb childcare between 8:45 until 2:45 for children over 2 years old until 5.

We are a community run playgroup in Mortlake, offering superb morning childcare from ages 2 ½ - 5 years. Our experienced, highly qualified staff provide a stimulating, nurturing environment for pre-school children. Each day children can choose from a selection of activities and toys: we always have painting, drawing, water play, dressing up, sand play and our book corner. Other activities change

daily: staff run cooking sessions, arts and crafts, woodwork, games and science experiments. Our focus is on learning through play, but staff also use special quiet groups to help prepare the children for school. We have specialist outside teachers who provide fantastic extra curricular activities for the children, including: music, drama, football and yoga. Parents and caregivers are made welcome too! We have a Parent Committee who encourage everyone to be part of our social events. We organise coffee mornings and evening events such as a quiz night so that people can get to know each other, and we ask parents to help organise our Summer and Christmas Fairs – really special events for the children.
