Our nurseries are a reflection of the home, providing a warm, loving, secure environment in which your child will thrive to reach his/hers full potential.
All of our staff are trained in Childcare and over 50% are qualified. Staff are carefully chosen by our Principal and Deputy for their dedication to Childcare. All the children in our care follow the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum, from young babies to five years old. This month’s theme is shapes, colours and numbers. The children enjoy learning these themes through play, which helps them understand the physical properties of objects. This is the building block of mathematical thinking.

Christmas is fast approaching but there is still time to donate presents and food for those families in the local area who are really struggling this year. All presents welcome, books, clothes, toys and craft. Anything that will bring joy and make a child’s Christmas special will be greatly appreciated. Did you know that we have a school that is adjacent to our Boulevard nursery? There are direct links from nursery to school so children have access to our care and education from 3 months to 11 years all on the same site. Although any pupils from across our nurseries can join. The Eveline Day School is child focussed meaning each child is supported, valued and encouraged. Our curriculum is exciting and set out to inspire children to nurture a passion for learning, as we develop the intellectual, emotional, spiritual and physical aspects of every pupil. Many pupils then go on to receive scholarships to schools such as Burntwood, Dulwich College, Hall School Wimbledon and many more. As Christmas is approaching we know that there are a lot of families in our local areas that struggle with the pressures of this season. To all our parents, we would like to invite you to our schools open day which will take place this Saturday from 9am-12pm. Our school is a continuation of the care and love we provide at our nurseries for 3 to 11 year olds. We have found that pupils who have stayed on with us have had a successful transition and flourished. The class sizes are small, with up to 15 students, which means the teacher can give close attention to each student. To get a feel for the setting and type of schooling we offer, it’s best to come and have a look around. Please let us know via email or give us a call to arrange a viewing. Our Seely Hall nursery was the first ever nursery we opened in 1974. Nestled in Furzedown it holds 41 children across 4 units and a newly refurbished garden. The nursery features a Baby Room, Toddler Room, Little Learners Room and Explorers Room.

Taking those big important steps into new rooms this month 👣
We use lots of play and role play when approaching room moves. When children are able to act out or play focussing around a scenario that’s about to take place, it helps them to feel more confident and make sense of what’s happening in real life.

The month of September marks a big transition for the children at our nurseries. This month is all about the children moving into different rooms. From the baby room and little learners, to the toddler room and explorer room. As each child continues to grow they enter new rooms that are adapted to support their needs. There are new faces to meet and new places to explore. It’s an exciting time for all. The child’s key person is a huge support during the transition, as these are such big milestone events for them, they help them to gain confidence and be comfortable with the move. Activities such as playing, story time and role play help to ease the transition.

Free painting - one of the most favourited activities in our nurseries 🎨 The children love learning about colours and mixing them together to see what they can create. We are always encouraging freedom of art expression and get such joy in seeing what the children create.

At the Eveline Day Nurseries we love exploring different topics through play, getting messy, creating scenes and getting our hearts pumping. Children learn a variety of skills through play and play is at the forefront of everything we do. We also have a range of activities from sport, to drama and Mindfulness to French lessons and Forest School. Offering fun engaging activities provides important development and enjoyment for the children in our care. Providing full and half day care from 7.30am to 6.30pm, 51 weeks a year, we can guarantee that your child will be kept busy and engaged throughout the year.
