Childcare Footsteps Day Nurseries is a small nursery chain with a big vision.

For our youngest children our emphasis is on providing a caring and nurturing environment supporting our children and their families to help them flourish. For our older children our emphasis is on learning through play in a structured but responsive environment with well planned activities supporting their learning and ensuring they are ready to take their next steps. Our vision is of an organisa

tion that nurtures children and staff and supports families. Our aim is to create welcoming nurseries that have strong, united, inclusive teams who put children at the centre of everything they do. Staff that deliver the best possible care and education, that are ambassadors for the nursery and who enjoy excellent relationships with our families and the wider community. We will have high expectations for our children and we will deliver exceptionally high standards of care and education to help them to feel nurtured and to reach their developmental milestones. We have high expectations of all staff and we will train and support them to fulfil their potential both as individuals and as nursery officers. We will ensure that staff and managers understand what good practice looks like and deliver it at all times. Staff and managers will be provided with clear direction and the right balance of challenge, accountability and support to carry out their job role effectively and to continually develop their practice. We will listen and respond to our families, our children, our staff, regulatory bodies and the wider community making changed where necessary and continually striving for improvement.

🎉🎭 Carnival Fun! 🎭🎉

Today the children have been exploring all the fun, colours and excitement of Carnival! 🌈🥁💃

We have enjoyed celebrating through lots of fun activities, music, creativity and learning about Carnival together. ❤️💛💚

We hope all of our children and families have a wonderful Bank Holiday weekend! ☀️🥳

🌍💚 Supporting Our Local Community! 💚🌍

Today, our Pre-School Room had a very busy and meaningful day taking part in lots of activities to show how we can support and be part of our local community! 🏡🥰

🥫 We donated food to our local food bank.
🐾 We made a donation to the local pet food bank to help animals in need.
💚 We donated items to our local charity shop and picked up some lovely pre-loved books to enjoy back at nursery. 📚♻️
🗑️🧤 We also went litter picking, helping to keep our local area clean and tidy!

The children had a wonderful time learning about kindness, helping others, caring for our environment and being an active part of our community. 🌱💕

We are so proud of our little community helpers! 🌟👏

This week we have been out and about in our local community! 🌿☕🛒

The children loved exploring nature at Hollow Pond, enjoying a visit to the local coffee shop, and helping with our shopping trip to Tesco. These outings are a fantastic way to build confidence, encourage independence, and learn about the world around us.
