Some food for thought today, so I speak to a lot of different clients who all run different kinds of businesses but many of them have the same issue that they are not always happy with:
I get lots of silly questions in my inbox from visitors!
Now in an ideal world when we get clients visiting our websites or social media pages we want them to understand and make a purchase.
So having a clear website or page is really important, however even if we did try to cover off all the questions you may get there will always be a new one that pops up.
So my top tips for this are:
1) Treat every question as an opportunity
If a customer is reaching out it means they have an interest, we should welcome it as an opportunity to speak to them and see if we can convert them from someone enquiring to someone buying.
2) If you keep getting the same question multiple times then add it to your FAQ's
If you find that same question keeps popping up the chances are its not covered or if it is needs to be reworded so take it as constructive feedback so you can improve your web page or social media page.
3) Don't get upset or frustrated be flattered there taking time to message you.
The fact your getting questions means you are getting people to view your sites and pages this is great news, would you rather no questions and not knowing if people visit your site or would you prefer to know that people are in fact viewing your site?
Some food for thought for you to think about but if you would like help with your own website or social media pages then please do reach out, I would love to help you.
