There's nothing like a visit from 💚🌳 alumni! The first day back after half-term and we had a very special visitor with handmade bracelets for the whole teacher team So special to see the creative, caring and entrepreneurial spirit - keep visiting us H!

Teamwork makes the dreamwork today as Number Day takes off at The Oak Montessori. So far on our numbers mission we have discovered 7 seagulls resting , 6 grown-ups exercising, 5 swans flying overhead, 4 dogs with tails wagging, 3 black birds, 2 trees with mole holes and 1 tube train - and a teeny, tiny little white feather on the green, green grass! It has been a magical morning so far and we can't wait to tell you more stories at the end of the day 💚🌳💚0️⃣1️⃣2️⃣3️⃣4️⃣5️⃣6️⃣7️⃣8️⃣9️⃣🔟💫

We are so excited to start our new termly topic of "Construction". Lots of planning and lots of building in place for Spring Term 2024! Off, off and away we go...!

A little flashback to last Friday on our 5th year of collecting for local 0-5 year olds at Christmas time. This year we saw 52 bags head off to support local families across Wimbledon and Merton as a whole, whilst developing knowledge amongst our own children of what it feels like to help others and package something special up for people like ourselves. These little helpers couldn't have been prouder to help us with all the counting and heavy lifting into Team Lovelight's car 🎄

We built our business from scratch in 2019 as two local mothers and educators who felt that we could bring something special to our local community for young children. We are so proud to be in our 5th academic year with Ofsted recognition as an "Outstanding" nursery school in our much loved Wimbledon Park. Championing education, championing local businesses, championing community and championing the youngest minds of our society who will become the leaders of tomorrow and change the world for the better.
