Are you a parent or carer in the Wimbledon area currently choosing a secondary school for your child?

League tables, progress measures, open mornings... We know this process can be daunting, and sometimes it's hard to wade through the jargon and get to the facts.

In order to help guide you through this decision, one of our current parents is hosting a coffee morning this Friday (15th Sept) at 9:15 at Wimbledon Racquets and Fitness Club on Cranbrook Road (SW19).

She will tell you the facts you need to know, such as what to look for on an open evening, and the best questions to ask. Our Principal, Alison Downey, will also be on hand to unpick the new Progress 8 measure and answer and questions you might have.

This Thursday is World Book Day, and this week at APA we are having World Book Week! There are lots of exciting activities going on all week to mark the occasion, make sure you head to the library at every day lunchtime to hear different members of staff read from their some of their favourite books!

Also keep your eyes peeled on Thursday when you'll see some of our teachers transform themselves into characters you might recognise!
