Acorn Day Opportunities Ltd is a newly launched modern Day Learning centre with a warm & friendly atmosphere.

Our aim is to provide a happy and safe environment where everyone who attends can develop to their full potential by being enrolled on an educational programme (Personal Progress) with ASDAN or WJEC. We believe that every person has the right to learn and enjoy activities whilst at the centre, as well as being treated equally and their diverse needs respected at all times.

All our staffs have completed their PTLLS qualification to ensure they are able to support service users in learning their chosen subjects towards an entry pathway qualifications in life skills (Kindly see sample education tables)

We welcome all Adults with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Aspergers, Mental Health and challenging behaviour aged 18 and over and endeavour to meet their individual needs.

Acorn Day Opportunities Ltd have completed and submitted the “East London Solutions – Day Opportunities Framework” to our local Commissioning Team in LB Waltham Forest.

Our Service is also available to Service Users who already have their own Personal Assistants/Carer, such as people who will buy the Service with their Direct Payment’s and want to pursue an educational programme leading to an award of an accredited qualification.

We Accept Referrals from:
checkSocial Services LD teams, as well as Health Professionals.
checkPrivate (Fee paying) customers
checkAdults who receive Direct Payments, Individual Budgets or Independent Living Funds.

Acorn Day Opportunities Ltd - Your Choice - Helping you choose your support This package is the same as full day drop in as detailed above and would best suit Service Users who want to use our Centre on a half day basis, with their own Support Staff. Timings for these services are either 9.30am-1.30pm or 12pm-4pm. This service is priced at £22.00 per half day and entails th…
