Hello to everyone who is doing this term of the course focusing on sound in installation!

This is Charlotte and I will be leading the course this term and look forward to meeting you all and working with you over the next 2.5 months.

My main background in Live Art/ performance, Sound Art and Sculpture and I have been leading workshops for the past 5 years and practicing as an artist for more.

DATE FOR THE DIARY: Nice bit of news is that I have preliminarily arranged a 2 day exhibition for us including an opening night on the 19th-20th July as an end product of the course for all of you to show work if you wish at New River Studios. This is not compulsory so no need to panic if you are not comfortable showing publicly.

New River Studios have agreed to let us use the whole venue so we can spread work around and use a variety of spaces

So keep those days and the evening of 19th free if possible though I understand some of you will have work on either one or both of the daytimes!

Over and out!
