We are delighted to take part in this year’s Great Exhibition Road Festival | , organised by Imperial College London | , with Maths in Motion — an interactive workshop bringing together the traditional art of Ebru marbling and the fascinating mathematics of fluid motion.
Led by artists Dilara Karaağaç | and Nagihan Seymour | alongside mathematician Dr Michele Coti Zelati , the workshop invites visitors to explore how colours move and interact on water while discovering the mathematical principles behind flow, turbulence, and motion.
Participants will have the chance to create their own artworks inspired by centuries-old Turkish artistic traditions and contemporary scientific research.
