Okutman, hem “Yetişkinler için Türkçe” hem de “Çocuklar İçin Türkçe” derslerini yürütecek; ders materyallerinin hazırlanması, sınavların uygulanması ve kursiyerlere yönelik etkinliklerin planlanmasından sorumlu olacaktır.

Join us at Sands Films Music Room for a special evening with Makam London & Ewan Bleach , bringing the rich sounds and centuries-old traditions of Classical Turkish Music to London, with the support of Yunus Emre Enstitüsü - London .

Featuring Serda Turkel Oter (vocals), Ewan Bleach (clarinet), Tolga Oter (oud), Eray Cinpir (percussion/vocals), and Serdar Yılmaz (kanun), the concert brings together the distinctive melodies, rhythms and improvisational traditions at the heart of Turkish classical music.

Lajvardina Wares: Cobalt and Gold | Book Launch & Object Handling

We’re pleased to present the launch of Lajvardina Wares: Cobalt and Gold, the new book by Dr Richard Piran McClary, Reader in Islamic Art and Architecture at the University of York , at Yunus Emre Enstitüsü – London Yunus Emre Enstitüsü - London, in collaboration with Edinburgh University Press, as part of our Arts & Culture Lecture Series.

Published by Edinburgh University Press, the book offers the first comprehensive study of lajvardina ware, exploring its production, development and geographical reach across medieval Iran, Central Asia and beyond, as well as its later collecting, trade and display.

During the evening, Dr Richard Piran McClary will give an illustrated talk introducing the research behind the publication, followed by a special object-handling session featuring selected examples from his personal collection.

The programme will conclude with a book signing, with copies of Lajvardina Wares: Cobalt and Gold available to purchase.

Supported by Yunus Emre Institute, DÜNYADA, presented by Vertov Film Theatre, comes to Camden Fringe2026 following its successful run in Türkiye. Created and performed by acclaimed actor and director Mehmet Ali Nuroğlu, this compelling solo performance blends theatre and live cinema to explore themes of identity, memory, belonging and displacement. The UK presentation is led by producers Ziyi Cao and Joy Li.

Ahead of the performances, Yunus Emre Institute London will host a special artist talk with Mehmet Ali Nuroğlu on Saturday, 1 August, offering audiences an opportunity to learn more about the creative process behind DÜNYADA.
