Yesterday, we welcomed Karl Hopwood, a leading expert in e-safety and online reputation, to the QGH Hall as part of our PSHE guest speaker series.

Karl spoke to our Year 12 students about the importance of acting responsibly online and shared valuable insights on how universities and future employers increasingly review applicant digital footprints before making decisions.

With social media deeply woven into young people’s lives and the rapid rise of AI applications, online safety has become an essential life skill we want all our students to possess.

🌿 A Botany Club Adventure!

Yesterday afternoon, our Botany enthusiasts took an autumnal stroll through Kensington Gardens, spotting and identifying a variety of tree species while collecting their leaves and seeds.

Back at the college, they made sure to water their saplings planted before half-term and checked on the mini vegetable garden on the library balcony. 🌱

Subject field trips are officially underway!

Last Friday, our UAL students explored the iconic V&A Museum right here in South Kensington. They admired the very techniques and artworks that will inspire their own creative projects this year.

Our GCSE students spent a rewarding day yesterday taking part in team-building activities.

Developing essential skills in communication, teamwork, delegation, and leadership that will support them in their future studies and careers.

It’s been great to have our hall filled up again this week with induction sessions for our new students and returners.

A sunny summer in London!

Over a packed couple of weeks, our MPW London Summer School students explored the city from every angle.

From breath-taking views across the city on The London Eye to close encounters with prehistoric dinosaurs at The Natural History Museum, and of course some competitive rounds of mini-golf, all whilst making life-long friends.

All courses at MPW are underpinned by a strong exam practice component from day one.

Exams are a fundamental part of education, and to succeed, students must be properly prepared and feel fully confident when sitting them.

Our model of frequent, timed assignments and mock exams is designed to assess student performance, build knowledge, and refine essential exam skills. By regularly taking part in timed assignments under supervised conditions, the fear and stress of exams is gradually reduced. By the time the real ones come around, students feel calmer and more confident.

We know this method enables students to perform better in exams and achieve higher grades - allowing them to successfully progress to their desired next steps in education.
