HAPPY INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY 2021, !! πŸ™ŒπŸΎ 😁 πŸ™πŸΎ ✨

With so much gender inequality and many gender stereotypes still rife, it's sometimes easy to overlook the fact that WE'VE COME SO FAR! I don't know about you, but I do my best to surround myself with women whose actions and aspirations inspire or teach me. It means that my conversations with women can be like exploring a library of knowledge and experience. This drives me forward. It helps me shatter glass ceilings, jump hurdles and shrug at others' disbelief or lack of support. It fuels me with intrinsic knowledge that I can be, and deserve to be, EVERYTHING I've been created to be.

Don't let today just be "another world-something-something day". Let it reignite your passion to be great in any and every way that is meaningful to you! πŸ”₯ 😍

Celebrating all the beautiful women who have loved me and inspired me on my journey so far and all the women I will love and inspire in my own lifetime. β™₯ πŸ™πŸΎ

Ladies, when did you last have to "brave up" and do something on your own? From going to a cinema/restaurant alone to travelling alone to living alone to raising kids alone, people who show this strength are often in the minority. Sometimes the comments, questions, assumptions or silent stares can put us off or make our situations harder...

That's why I think it's important for us to talk about some of these experiences! Once we stop caring about how society views us, we're finally free to be our brilliant, authentic selves and ✨ SHINE ✨

Why not join us for Part 1 of Elleversation: Developing The Strength To "Go It Alone" and be inspired by other women's stories?

Like all women, I've had my fair share of ups and downs in this crazy thing we call Life! We all go through challenging times on an individual basis and, to add to that, we're currently experiencing this on a national and global basis too... Sometimes, the way we muddle through what's ahead is to remember what we've already overcome...

I'm a big believer in spreading ✨ HOPE ✨ in times of disaster and that's why I thought it was important to cover this topic early on in the year...

Join me on Saturday 13th February at 3pm as I speak to two lovely ladies about their experiences of clinging to hope at difficult moments in their lives. If there's a lady you know who could do with some encouragement right now, please send this to her too. πŸ™πŸΎ

Ladies, do you struggle to follow through with your plan to walk away from people and things?

We established already that step one is to recognize that something or someone isn’t good for us… but THEN what? Do we just leave?! In some situations, an immediate reaction may well have to be the next step but, most of the time, we can afford to squeeze in another step: reflection.

Good ol’ reflection. This is the point at which we not only acknowledge to ourselves that something or someone in our life is a problem, but also our part in allowing or maintaining the problem.

πŸ‘‰πŸΎ Why have we put up with this?
πŸ‘‰πŸΎ What were we gaining that seemed so vital that we chose to stay at the first sign that something wasn’t right?
πŸ‘‰πŸΎ What is the response of the people involved likely to be when we finally walk away?
πŸ‘‰πŸΎ How can we prepare to counter or overrule it so that we have a plan in place that is our best interests?
πŸ‘‰πŸΎ What’s the exit plan going to be?

Skipping the reflection step (in non-emergency situations) is usually a good predictor that we will end up with the same people and situations in our lives, over and over again. We’ve put up with things for months or years so what’s a few days or hours of reflection time, really?
