What an incredible last half term we have had! We celebrated Diwali, Thanksgiving, Christmas and finished the year with the most beautiful of Nativities. These are our highlights! Feeling so autumnal! Heading into Monday with our favourite Autumn books, and some fun tuff trays for our little learners! 🍁🦔🐿

What a fantastic first week back at nursery and Pre school! Splatter, splodge painting, and the biggest castle made from bricks we’ve ever seen! All the new and returning children doing so well! Happy Autumn!🍂🍁🐿🦔

Welcome back all! Our new term starts this Wednesday the 7th of September at 9:10am!If you have recently contacted us in the last two weeks, we re open for our inset day tomorrow(just for staff) and we will get back to you this week. We are still taking late applications until the end of next week. We’ve had a few laptop issues, and we are now up and running (with a new laptop!) to welcome you and your children to the start of our Autumn term! Lots of fun awaits!

So, we come to the end of our academic year of 2021/22! We look forward to our concert tomorrow (Friday the 8th is our last day before the Summer break) A huge thankyou to the incredible team of Practitioners that love and care for the children daily. Our lovely new Nursery Secretary, and our amazing committee for their unwavering support. Thankyou to our super parents and carers for your engagement and kindness, and thankyou to the wonderful children. Red Group, good luck in your school journey, we will miss you. Blue Group, see you in September! Have a wonderful Summer and enjoy your beautiful children.

The Barn Nursery and Pre School Coffee Shop opened today! The children loved exploring coffee beans, and “making drinks” for their friends and teachers alike! As we draw close to the end of our Summer Term, we are really enjoying our role play!!! Please can I have a cappuccino children?! Thankyou!

Science exploration with ice and dinosaurs!! Our practitioner Lynne, created some frozen dinosaurs eggs! This was a perfect opportunity for the children to engage in critical thinking. How could we get them out?
Can we melt them? Can we use something to break the egg? Are there babies inside, are they being born? Were they trapped in the ice age? Will we need to warm them up once they are out? Will they be cold? Will they be hungry? Wonderful exploring and communication and language! We also looked at The Billy Goats Gruff in our traditional tales theme! Happy Monday all! 🦕🧊🐐
