We offer walking tours in London to discover the stories of the British Empire through monuments and See the events tab for upcoming tours.

History Speak is a creative consultancy specialising in contested heritage and decolonising spaces. We uses a participatory and transdisciplinary approach to projects, working with collaborators and clients to develop workshops and activities that are meaningful, engaging and have lasting impact. Our network is made up of creative practitioners in the UK with shared values about the social purpose of our work. We come together on projects to bring fresh perspectives and new ways of thinking. Our projects include walking tours about the British Empire and explore the history of colonisation and decolonisation in some of London's most symbolic public spaces. We aim to deliver fresh perspectives on dominant narratives through critical appreciation of the statues, monuments and the built environment. History Speak was established to encourage more people to engage in narratives of history and the lived experience of heritage through storytelling.
