Students in India: got a business idea you’d like to pitch? 💡

“Pitch Your Business” at IDL 6.0 is open exclusively to students in India, in Grades 3–12.

Introduced through the KidsMBA and Indian Debating League partnership, this live entrepreneurial pitch gives students the opportunity to present their business, startup or venture idea to a panel of judges.

In a 3–6-minute pitch supported by a PowerPoint presentation, participants cover:

• The problem they want to solve
• Their proposed solution
• Their target audience
• Their business model and its potential
• Opportunities for growth and impact

It’s a chance to think through the practical details, organise their ideas and practise presenting with confidence.

Never pitched before? Free online training on 15–17 October will help students prepare.

We are incredibly proud of Isabella Leese, who has been selected as one of just 10 finalists from around the world in the Kidsmba Future Entrepreneur of the Year 2026 competition – and she is the only UK finalist! 🇬🇧

From developing her idea through Business Studies to now competing on an international stage, this is a fantastic achievement.

What an achievement for KHULA Education and the communities they’ve worked alongside for nearly 20 years.
We feel privileged to play even a small part in this work. The impact of giving a young person support, skills and confidence can reach far beyond the classroom. Congratulations to the whole KHULA team! 😇

15,000 children and young people annually. That is now the reach of KHULA’s work across rural KwaZulu-Natal, and it’s a milestone we’re incredibly proud of.

We have deliberately chosen to go deep, rather than wide. We have worked in the same rural communities for nearly 20 years, building support around a child as they grow.

It can begin in preschool, continue through Maths and English support at school, strengthen the teachers they learn from, and later provide access to skills, university, training and pathways into employment. Our growth is exciting, but our purpose remains the same: lasting change in the communities we call home.

15,000 lives reached each year. And behind every number, a young person with their own potential and bright future.

KidsMBA and the Indian Debating League are introducing “Pitch Your Business” at IDL 6.0!

Open to students in Grades 3–12, this new format gives young innovators a chance to explore their ideas and build their pitching confidence.

Never pitched before? Free online training on 15–17 October will help you prepare.

You’ll have three chances to compete in the qualifier rounds from 21–31 October, plus a complimentary Business Skills Report, with expert analysis and feedback to help you develop further.

🏆 The top two business ideas will be invited to IIT Delhi on 29 November to pitch directly to leading entrepreneurs and business leaders.

We’re delighted to be collaborating with the (IDL) 6.0 to introduce “Pitch Your Business”, an opportunity for young people to develop their ideas, think like entrepreneurs and build the confidence to pitch them.

It’s a brilliant introduction to the entrepreneurial thinking at the heart of KidsMBA, where students learn to spot opportunities, solve problems and communicate their ideas clearly.

Taking part can also be a valuable addition to a CV or college and university application, helping young people demonstrate initiative, creativity, problem-solving and presentation skills.💪

From that first idea to standing up and sharing it, every step is an opportunity to learn and grow.

School teaches children to count, read and write. But how often do they learn how a business actually works?

The ambition is certainly there. A 2026 Xero survey found that 72% of UK students aged 16–21 are attracted to entrepreneurship, yet 37% see a lack of financial skills as a barrier.

Our founder, Mark Watson-Gandy OBE, saw the consequences of this first-hand as an insolvency barrister. He asked a simple question: why wait until mistakes become expensive to teach the fundamentals of business?

That question inspired KidsMBA. 💡
