Ayurveda, yoga and ta**ra are sister sciences.

Ayurveda is about the body.

Yoga, about the mind.

And ta**ra, energy.

In a brand new podcast series, YAP, I am speaking to my Ayurvedic Doctor, Leanna Biagioni.

In this episode, we’re exploring how dinacharya (routine and lifestyle) is approached through this Ayurvedic/Yogic lens to build solid foundations to life.

You'll take away some easy ways to start to support your own healthy routines and learn more about Leanna's upcoming half day workshop at EMBODY, Daily Rhythms, on Sunday 26th July 11-3PM!

from budding... to bloom.

Spring is the transition from what was, to what’s becoming and offers us a chance to create change.

We feel the lift of subtle currents in the environment that signals to us, it’s time to open to life.

As we come towards the end of spring and a shift into summer energies, the Summer Solstice (Sun 21st June) edging closer, it’s a turn towards expansion, activation and seeing our efforts come to fruition.

The transitional periods (spring and autumn) and fantastic times to do the work of shedding, clearing, releasing, reflecting and integrating lessons that help us to tidy up our boundaries, direction and commitments that help move us in the flow of where we desire to be heading.

If we can use the remaining few weeks of spring, to really look at what is here for us to cleanse, detoxify and move through us - whether that be habits, beliefs, patterns, relationships or even down to the way in which we are moving and eating to help best support the body’s natural processes; we maintain an inner equilibrium as we lean into what each season asks of us.

Summer is more about taking a slower pace, letting things manifest and finding freedom and enjoyment.

This is not a time to force and overwork, but to lean into summer’s message; which is a celebration of joy, connection, and fulfilment, encouraging an embrace of long days, cherishing the bonds of friendship, and appreciating nature.

It serves as a reminder to ignite your creativity, play in the sunshine, and appreciate the fleeting, beautiful moments of life by finding respectability in laziness.

Summer can get busy, so scheduling in space for rest, relaxation and your own self-care is an important piece to factor in to your season.

How can you find a beautiful balance between being outgoing and drawing inwards to rest?

Maintain your peace as the temperatures rise.

We open the summer events at EMBODY on the Summer Solstice, with an evening gathering to reflect on the year in ceremony. Swipe for more details on how I’ll be holding you throughout summer.

✨gathering together to nourish the soul✨

I can’t quite believe it’s been a whole month since we retreated!!

Our retreat brought together a beautifully aligned group, each bringing a piece of magic and wisdom to the shared space. As my retreat co-host Alice noted, everyone “showed up with such human decency, respect, beauty honesty rawness love kindness and goodness”.

The retreat fell on the transformative Scorpio Full Moon, it was a chance to use the energy of scorpio, to dive into the depths of our being through reflection, conscious conversation and practices that each became a potent portal for insight, integration and deep internal shifts to liberate.

We had tears, heart-felt conversations, brand new friendships formed, as well as deeply held stories and long-forgotten wounds liberated! It was extremely beautiful to witness and be a part of.

Deep gratitude to my incredible team and my dreams clients; the gorgeous beings who joined to make my very first solo retreat so special! ♥️

Retreats offer us “a reminder to slow down and soften. To do LESS. To forget about those tasks and perfecting a to-do list. To be kinder to yourself. To carve out more time for yourselves in the busy day.”

Whatever you feel you needed by joining a retreat, there’s an invitation to make sure you continue to give yourself that from there on out. It acts as a catalyst for awareness and change.

“I felt almost immediately supported and safe in the space with everyone that was present. Authentic without judgement and nurturing.”

When we gather with those magnetised to a collective experience, as noted “those who vibrate on the same frequency meet, recognise each other, and come together to create something different, something truly divine 🙌”

This is the true power of retreating... the connections formed within the group, the wisdom and insights we each share, the new bonds and friendships, the space that’s held collectively, the energy that’s transferred and created goes beyond just the physical and leaves us forever changed in our hearts.

If you feel the call to join us on our next retreat in planning, DM your email to join waitlist!

Modern day yoga has lost the sacredness.

It’s become something we tick off our endless lists of to do’s that makes us a good human for performing.

It’s become something of an entertainment, rather than a sacred commitment to yourself and the divine.

The devotional aspect has been lost in many ways and it’s become about what it looks like, rather than the teacher and student honouring the integrity of the lineage and the depth of the education, it’s about how cute it looks, or how fun the flow was. Completely missing the healing and scientific reasoning behind why a class is sequenced and practiced… the integrity of the process is lost.

Sadhana takes yoga to a new level of personal evolution.

One where you feel the grace of God working its magic in your life to heal you.

Just a friendly reminder, yoga’s the science of human evolution. It’s the practice manual for understanding the technology of your human vessel and how consciousness works. It’s about healing and energy mastery.

It’s not gymnastics.

Don’t seek entertainment, seek integrity and truth.

Life isn’t about avoiding difficult situations or feelings, but about facing them and growing through it.

Your soul came here to learn.

The more you can go TOWARDS that circumstance that is causing you challenge, the quicker you get to move through the growth birth canal; born into greater levels of self.

Don’t just seek ease and peace in life; that’s a byproduct of having met the challenges, inner resistances and outer conflicts.

Trust yourself and your capacity to meet those challenges and grow.

Because that’s what life is about.

If you’re needing support; I will be running another 3 months of NURTURE, wellness mentoring, to work through blocks and challenges via the lens of yoga and self-inquiry.

It’s a commitment to yourself and your personal development which takes effort, but is extremely worth it.

DM me for more info and Q’s

Big love,

When anxiety hits, taking an action helps to disperse the energy that’s looping or sitting heavy in the system.

If you’re experiencing anxiety or overwhelming feelings, here’s what I did to help myself…

🆘 GROUND - get connected to your body, mind, breath & spirit so you’re able to feel embodied and present. When we’re in anxiousness, neutrality in the nervous system is your best friend. Find a practice you know works for you

🆘 MOVE - whether you do movement before your meditation, dance it out, run, or go for a walk in a local park, river, lake or forest; move!! Anxiety creates excess momentum and moving helps to disperse that and things like walking is scientifically proven to support nervous system regulation

🆘 TALK - find someone who is a safe, trusted space that you can allow what’s coming up inside to be held. A problem shared is a problem halved. If you don’t have appropriate people around you, counselling is there for that reason

🆘 REST - laying down might seem counterintuitive but taking a moment to rest in stillness signals to your body you are safe and brings heart rate down

🆘 ACTION - action the above, AND action a next best step to resolve the situation that has caused the anxiety in the first place. Taking an action allows for momentum, which is what helps you to move from the looping thoughts

If you have been struggling with chronic anxiety, sometimes we need much deeper and longstanding support, to help us neutralise and resolve.

But these simple steps can be a gentle preventative for deeper more chronic experiences taking hold.

If you’d like to try my go to meditation practice for anxiety, comment SOS and I’ll send you a link to a free practice 🧘🏻‍♀️

Sending love!
Robyn
