INTERCULTURAL EURYTHMY FESTIVAL
Evening performance by graduates from Eurythmy India on Saturday 6 July at 7.30 pm at Rudolf Steiner House.

A unique chance to experience the combined arts of eurythmy and theatre. This dynamic ensemble offers a unique interpretation of Shakespeare’s classic tragedy, set in 16th century India. Themes of familial inheritance and power, forgiveness and karmic retribution are explored here using both the dynamic movement of eurythmy and drama.

A diverse cast of actor/eurythmists and musicians from Nepal, Malaysia, India, Sri Lanka, Taiwan and China bring depth and texture to this performance. Sitar, Tabla and piano pieces by György Sándor Ligeti and Sergei Rachmaninoff provide a scintillating musical setting throughout.
Directed by Daniel Skinner and Diana Constantin.

The performance lasts 90 mins with no interval. Suitable for ages 12 and upwards.
