It was on kind of sleep mode for many years, but my daughter told me to kick started as younger people are more on Instagram these days than Facebook.

At my grand age, I will be using both as I think I have a few more years to go with driving tuition.

Anyway for now, all the best wishes to all, and please take care out there on the roads, and always give time for your journeys, and these days, make sure your petrol tank is well above half most of the times, keep your windows and mirrors perfectly clean, that makes the journey a lot more pleasant, and have enough windscreen washer fluid in the reservoir .

And going one step beyond, for security, lock your doors when you're driving, and secure your car when you go to the till to pay for your petrol..

Always think for the worse, and the worse won't happen to you !!!! ☺️ 😉 👍👌❤️

A big thank you Roy for teaching our eldest daughter Zoe to drive. We are so proud of her passing her test yesterday on the first attempt with no minor errors (a day after her 18th birthday). Your support, teaching and positive and realistic encouragement were the perfect ingredients for success. Our younger two children can’t wait to start their lessons with you. On the 21st of June 2025, Cockfosters bowls club is having its 2 woods men's competition.
A game that requires concentration from the word go, and where one can up its game from no where.
A great tournament to watch and participate.

We have 28 men participating in this knock competition , and members will be hoping to give their " BEST SHOT "....
If you're near by, you're welcome to come and watch, and it all starts at 10.15 am with 7 rinks in action.

All the best wishes to all participants, and you never know, we might be watching a new national champion one day to come.

Hello folks and I hope all is well 🙏..

Something I want to mention again, but doesn't happen often these days, especially with LED indicators, but on older cars, if you put your indicators on and it starts - FLASHING VERY QUICK , and you can tell from sound on the dash board too, then it means that one of the bulbs on that side has blown or has a defect.

So be aware other road users won't know the direction your going.

You can get home with hand signals , or if possible stop over and change it.

Saying that, oh boy, how many inconsiderate drivers out there these days that don't indicate
