No two learners are the same, which is why no two learning journeys are the same at Perseid 💙

Our personalised approach recognises every pupil’s strengths, interests and needs, ensuring they receive the support, challenge and opportunities needed to thrive.

We celebrate every achievement, no matter how big or small, because every step forward matters.

This week, pupils have been exploring International Ozone Layer Preservation Day through activities focused on caring for our environment 🌱 🌎

From discussing how everyday actions can help protect our planet to taking part in practical environmental activities, pupils have been developing their problem-solving skills while learning how small changes can make a big difference.

Teamwork has been the focus of this week’s enrichment activities 🤝

Pupils have worked collaboratively to explore how respect, kindness and cooperation help everyone thrive both in and beyond the classroom.

We are incredibly proud of our Upper School pupils joined thousands of young people across the country in the inspiring TCS Mini London Marathon in Schools Challenge.

Merton was recognised as one of the highest-participating boroughs in London, with a record 49 schools taking part and demonstrating fantastic determination, enthusiasm and school spirit.

To celebrate this achievement, pupils, families and staff are invited to attend a special community event - the Morden Recreation Ground junior parkrun

Upper School won a Toniebox starter set from Twinkl Community! Our School Parliament pupils researched and bought some Tonies, including a Horrible Histories character and Joy from Inside Out, that they are really excited to listen to. This is just one of the ways we promote a love of storytelling and multimodal reading at Perseid School!

Welcome back! It has been wonderful to welcome pupils back across the school over the past few days and see our classrooms, corridors and playgrounds full of energy, smiles and excitement once again.

We would also like to extend a very special welcome to all of our new pupils and families joining the Perseid community this year. We know starting somewhere new can be a big step, and we are delighted to have you with us.

We can’t wait to see what this year will bring and look forward to another year filled with learning, growth, achievement and memorable experiences. Here’s to a fantastic year ahead! 🌟
