About the setting
My service is a caring home from home environment, whilst following the curriculum of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Our home is spacious and your child will have access to the living/dining room, study area and self-contained garden, plus the kitchen when helping with cooking and baking. We will have themes and activities throughout the year which the children will be encouraged to participate in but it is not essential. If there is a particular area of interest to your child then I will try to accommodate it. Outdoor play is encouraged and I aim to get out and about daily and in all weathers. Opening Hours
I offer flexible opening hours but primarily my setting is open between 8:30am and 5:30pm. If you require care outside of these hours please discuss it with me. Ad-hoc care is offered subject to availability. Meals
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are offered to all children that I care for. Meals are homemade and cooked using fresh ingredients. A list of example meals can be provided on request. Alternatively you can provide food for me to serve at mealtimes. Fees
Full day Inclusive of nappies, wipes, food, drinks etc £85
Part time rates on request. Fees to be paid monthly in advance. Deposit- 4 weeks fees is retained for final 4 weeks care after notice is given. Any entrance fees for trips will be agreed and paid in advance, but we will aim to go out most days involving lots of free outings. Fees are paid in advance and payment is due on the 1st of each month. Invoices will be issued on or after the 20th day of the month prior to payment being due. If you would like to hold a space open for your child a retainer fee of 50% will be charged. For more information please refer to my Fees policy, available on request. Items to provide
Suitable clothing including; wellies and waterproofs during the winter months, sunhats and sun cream during the summer. If your child is wearing nappies please provide nappies and wipes / cotton wool. Formula or breast milk must be stored following the correct guidelines. All children should bring a change of clothes in case of accidents or getting wet during play. Resources and activities

Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
The EYFS is a statutory framework that all child care providers must work with if they care for children from birth to 5 years. It covers the development of your child and has 3 prime areas of learning:
• Communication and Language
• Physical Development
• Personal, Social & Emotional Development
And 4 specific areas:
• Literacy
• Mathematics
• Understanding the World
• Creative Arts and Design
Each child in my care will have a learning journal. This journal will include observations, artwork & photographs of your child; you as their parent are welcome to look through this any time.
